“Destination2 have no customer service at all!”

Booked a holiday with Destination2, they changed the flights to another airport with a longer stop over with no discussion with us at all. We emailed immediately & received a auto response to say they would be in touch in 5 days, took numerous emails & Facebook contact & 3 weeks for them to basically respond & advise they would not do anything about these non suitable flights, they have never tried to help, just always requesting more money if we would like a similar flight, spoke to the… Read Full Review

We do not accept that we would have commented that booking parking early was your own fault. However, since it is not uncommon for airlines to make changes we would expect that the any ancilliaries such as this are booked with full awareness of the terms. We did offer an option to you and gave information about the costs which has not been taken advantage of. Those costs are from the airline. In relation to the fact that the airline made the initial change, not us, we have dealt within the scope of our booking terms that apply between us. We are sorry that the outcome is not to your personal preference but every effort has been made to resolve this.

Please do not call me a Liar!! I have spoken to the Airline & was assured they would not of charged to change us to the most similar flight, someone in your organisation or the Indian operator you use chose our new flights, with no options given to us at all, we were fully aware of the terms of our airport parking, but of course we did not anticipate that you would change the departure airport when you use lots of airlines that have flights from that airport. In my 40 years of travelling never once have I been forced to change airports, all other tour operators have been happy to discuss changes during the pandemic & if a suitable solution could not be found, they have allowed us to cancel without any charges, also they have all responded in the time frame they gave, you gave a 5 days time frame & took 3 weeks for a holiday that was travelling within 6 weeks, yet you reply to reviews immediately, shame on you, you only care about looking good so you can gain customers, whereas the customers you have are being ignored for weeks. You say every effort was made to resolve this, there was not a single option offered that did not mean that we did not lose out financially & on time in our holiday, that is not customer service!!

“I would give it no stars if I could ”

Absolutely appalling company. We have booked a holiday to Mexico it has been cancelled by TUI however D2 will not give us our money back. You cannot speak to anyone. I have emailed and no one responds. I have been promised call backs now four times and no one calls back. They have a large sum of money of ours and we cannot get any way of getting it back. “Overcharged and no refund 11 weeks later”

When they wanted money off me their response time was very quick, they then overcharged me by £1700 which they have admitted was a mistake at their end (luckily I had all the original quotes) and I am now 11 weeks and still have not been refunded, emails ignored from their customer service department so I will have to go through my credit card company to get the money back… Read Full Review

“Just a nightmare!”

I booked a hotel on Sunday and paid on Monday AM. Despite the assurance from Betty that everything is fine, on Tuesday afternoon I found out that they had failed to book a room for us and there is no room available in the hotel. The agent suggested other hotels without any knowledge of the island and it's conditions. I asked for a refund and now I have to wait 21 days for them to process. “Don't Try To Cancel, Whatever You Do!! ”

I am disappointed and somewhat offended by the manner in which I've been handled by a member of staff from Customer Service. I asked to speak with a manager or be provided with the contact details of a manager. Customer services responded: "I am more than qualified to handle you". The concerns you have raised about responses to your enquiry have been addressed to the staff member involved. We do of course protect the personal reputation of our colleagues who are only doing their job in passing on the facts about the situation despite this not being what you want to hear. We also defend the business where the issue is not of our making.
You have a hotel only booking and are subject to the supplier and hotel terms which were agreed by the lead passenger when booking online on our website. We can only assist in trying to achieve the outcome you wish subject to these.
You requested cancelation and were given costs in accordance with those supplier terms. Money cannot be transferred to another booking as these cancelation fees are due to that supplier.
The information given about this in our responses was entirely accurate and could not have been altered by a manager call.

“Couldn't have been more helpful”

I usually use Best at Travel and have booked two holidays per year with them for well over the last 12 years This time I thought id just try another company as Dubai prices have skyrocketed due to COVID etc. I got through to an agent who honestly couldn't have been more helpful. Wish to amend the earlier review re how come Destination2 quote was £5,000 higher than 2 other Travel Agents quotes. Agent and myself confused on No of Passengers. She assumed x2 and I wanted just for myself x1. Their price IS competitive (not lowest but not highest) AND the agent  - very polite and understanding so please ignore my previous email and I give this 4 stars. “Forced to take court action to get a pandemic refund”

Being a customer of Destination2 has been a very bad experience. We made a booking online for a hotel stay which couldn’t go ahead because of the pandemic. Our repeated attempts to reach the Company for information on our booking failed because their after-sales phone lines remained closed and all our emails to them were ignored.
