My wife and I booked a flight to Kuala Lumpur on the 23rd October 2020 due to the COVID-19 and the travel restrictions we were unable to fly. I was given a credit till May 2022 I called byojet 20 times and send them many emails never received any reply e-mail. I wanted to book again for Kuala Lumpur I was told BA currently not flying into Kuala Lumpur I booked new flights with different airline. Our voucher date was confirmed till May 2023 last 6 month I called customer service and checked if it is possible to change my destination from Kuala Lumpur to maldives I was promised by the customer service advisor I can only book with them and I cannot book directly with BA. I am tired of calling them and they are not being able offer any flight I am about to give up my £2094.00.

I booked a flight from Melbourne to Colombo and wanted to change the return date for an emergency. So I called them to inquire about my options with date changes. The agents at the call centre keeps telling me the booking is a “US booking” and they can’t access it to even check pricing. It’s been 5 days of calls and emails with agents promising they would get a response from the “relevant team” but I’ve got nothing and the tickets are getting pricier by the day! They sent me an sms and email today to say call the customer care number to address the concern, which I did, but they say the same! Very poor customer service!

BYO Jet (part of the flight centre group) are about to be investigated by AFTA for potential large scale withdrawal of customer funds in the form of flight credits that they are not allowing customers to access. Flight credits were awarded to customers when flights were grounded during the pandemic. Now that the airways are open again BYO jet is not answering calls and e-mails. The funds have gone somewhere, but where?

As many others, flight cancelled in 2020. Now trying to book a flight and I can't use the credit. 3 phone calls. 2-hour waiting time before someone picks up. Always promised emails to explain details / provide quotes. Nothing received. They are just pushing people to forget about their credit.

It has been a year now, byojet mever refunded my money. I contacted them thousands of times on email and phone call, but they never replied me on my refund. They misbehave and even abuse customers on call. Stay away from Byojet . Unprofessional people with no work ethics.

Being told BYOJet can't help me unless the airline cancels the flight (because the airline told them this), however have various emails from the airline AND a page on their website saying you can get a full credit for any flights still operating before 31st July. Have also been told to take it up with the airline, which I know I can't do if it isn't booked directly through them. Being given false information and then get hung up on after 2 hours on hold. Also no responses to any emails at all after over a month. At least now I know never to use them again!

I booked and fully paid for my flights with LATAM airlines through BYOJET several months prior to departure; due to Pandemic flights were cancelled by LATAM making it impossible to embark the aircraft. Refunds of $38 dollars per ticket were offered whereas we paid in excess of $1500 for each one! Online form for submitting flight alteration is not working. Emails not answered. This is a shameless company doing Zero service and cashing in on pandemic. SHAME!

Airline has already refunded them (was told that by airline) but BYOJET won't refund me. They take $350 as a cancellation fee when the airline charges $0. Even holding a credit with the airline results in a "nominal" BYOJET charge of $55 when the airline charges nothing. Disgusting that they would use a situation where people are losing their lives to make money. When this is over, make them pay by avoiding them. they're often a little cheaper but they should be held to account for their lowlife behaviour.

What an extremely frustrating journey dealing with your customer service #BYOjet. Not only do you have 3 hours of waiting time - but your customer service also guides people wrong and advises them to deal with the airline directly - and the Airline has no clue about this #ThaiAirways. Then you charge $$250 USD considering what's happening around the world #Covid19 pandemic when all airlines #ThaiAirways have canceled their fees for changes/cancellation. Seriously #badcustomerservice and not bothered when both the Airlines and Customers have suffered the inconvenience both mentally and financially. All Airlines who have business with you should know about this - #BYOjet #BadCustomerService #Travel #Neveragain #NoService #Airline #Agency #BYOTravel #Fees #Cancellation #Skyscanner #BanBYOJet #BookFlightswithBYOjet #SingaporeAirlines #QuantasAirways #Emirates #EtihadAirways #AirNewZealand #CathayPacific #QatarAirways #KoreanAir

I booked through BYOjet and had to change the date of my flight. I requested to change my booking. They demanded that I pay taxes, charges, fare difference and an automatic fee of £98. In total this would cost more than a new ticket (in all circumstances), so I asked for a refund and they refused. Customer care is on a carousel, every time I emailed back, a different person responded; none of them are helpful; all of them are patronising and insincerely polite. Their bottom line is summed up in the final email I received, "There is no human intervention when you made the booking, whatever you input that will be the information capture by the system. And before you proceed with the payment there is a check box that you agree with the terms & conditions [...] The penalties quoted is as per ticket policy". Whatever your circumstances, this agency will follow the terms and conditions without question. So my next question is: How can the person responsible for this company's ticket policy be investigated and charged in a criminal court? Because they just took my money, took my holiday and gave me nothing in return.

AVOID using them. I've read several reviews about byojet from disgruntled customers, unfortunately, only after making my booking. Last evening, I booked 3 Sydney Delhi return tickets, for travel in Feb 2019. The booking email showed a return date of 15 March, while we wanted to come back on 15 Feb. This morning, when I read the email showing the itinerary, I requested a change of date (within 24 hours of booking). Byojet is asking for AU$ 500 per person for change of date, while I am getting a whole new ticket for same dates, with good connections for AU$ 749pp. I have now read several reviews where people have booked with byojet and their date has been changed. When I requested cancellation of ticket, they said, there's no refund. They have also refused to show me their IT log (where I keyed in the dates of travel), claiming it is confidential. If it is my record and they claim I have written the wrong date, then why can't they let me see it. I am totally disappointed with the lack of concern shown by byojet towards customer requirements. At most, they should charge for difference in fare, if at all, applicable.

Very dishonest company, now taking the to court over £1698 they took from my credit card and won't return.

I have spent hours on the telephone to these people and basically they just fudge about the terms and conditions. They also told me to telephone the airline as only they could help. This turned out to be untrue as the airline informed me the ticket belongs to the travel company. Their telephone line is also of questionable quality making it difficult to sustain a conversation without constant repetition.

Dear Friends, SHARE THIS POST NOW, IF YOU CARE FOR THOSE AROUND YOU. I’m not the only victim; there were hordes before me and I am pretty sure I wouldn’t be the last. Never ever book through BYOjet, unless you intend to "book your own" airline tickets again like I did. I booked a ticket through BYO Jet in early August this year. The first attempt did not went through due to some authentication code thing that I am required to key in during payment. I called them up and was finally advised to re-booked my air tickets after 2 hours of discussion. I confirmed it with them and took the 2nd attempt to booked my tickets. This time round it went through and I was happy to received a call to inform me that they will not be charging me for my 1st attempt. I even confirmed the details with them. Following which, I received a confirmation email from them with an attached itinerary. Our next correspondence was 4 days before my departure, as I wanted to inquire about my baggage allowance but was informed that they had cancelled my flight tickets and had refunded my money. This was 4 days before my flight !! They insisted that my flight did not went through at all and the email was to inform me that the email was just a tax invoice and not a confirmation. In the first place, I did not received any notifications from them to inform me that they had cancelled my tickets and refunded my money. As a result, I spent an additional SGD$1000 to book the same flight tickets arrangement on my own as it was for a group trip. Moreover, there were so many loopholes in their conversation with me. If the payment was not authenticated like what they had said, how did they then managed to debit the amount from my credit card? And why would they need to refund the money??? Most importantly, why did they word the email in the following manner and include the itinerary. Dear, Thank you for choosing to travel with BYOjet Singapore, we are pleased to confirm your booking. I booked a flight with my friend, under my name and my card. We booked it in June and my friend cancel it on July. Well friend is just friends, but no one notify me about this, don't mention about my friend, even the travel agent didn't email me where else I booked using my email instead of my friend. Yesterday 7/11/17 I called their hotline to make enquiries of deferring the date as I got some emergencies going on, they only tell me it was cancel by my friend and that flight doesn't exists, and I am flying on the 9/11/17. So how should I feel right now? My calls was passed around among them and nothing they can do about it. Where else on my end, I know nothing about the cancellations and my money just gone like that. They should notify me regarding the cancellation, they should! Its ridiculous, it's like 20 people book a same flight together and one just call to make a cancellation and they will cancel for all the 20, and they answered me 'yes, they can do it'. without any verifications, nothing.

Do not be fooled by their cheap flight deals, they are riddled with unfavorable fine prints (check them before booking!), rude customer service and very unsecure payment system that may expose you to credit card risk. When we wanted to change our booking over the phone, they asked us to provide all our credit card details including the security code the the agent. Not just that, they also asked us to email a photo of the front and back of our credit card. Now, now we all know this is very dangerous and all banks have warned us before never to provide security code to anyone. When we refuse to do so, byojet explained that they are just following a 'procedure' and there is no other way to do the payment. So, guys becareful!

BYOjet This is the most horrible service I've ever met. I can not book extra luggage through BYOjet. I waited 22.06.17 for the answer of the operator for 30-40 minutes. The operator of Gavi is very rough. From Gigi's manager, I waited 22.06.17 for an answer of 30 minutes but she did not want to talk to me. I spent a lot of time and money. I now do not know who made this mistake your website or BYOjet. But as a result, I lose my money and time. I'm a customer why should I pay for a bad service?

Booked a ticket through Byojet and the name that was in the itinary that was sent to me was wrong. Called them and they said that it was my mistake and said it would cost SGD 150 to amend the name. How could I possibly key in my name twice without knowing?! The sequence of the other passenger in the itinary was wrongly registered too!! The customer service rep then said I called and inform them too late as it was 4 days after the booking was done. I told them I sent them an email on the actual day after realising it was wrong! They went to check and realised I did sent and they did not reply! After looking through the itinary again, the airline booking reference number was wrong and the airline did not register that at all! Their system are flaw and they blame it on the customer. It is atrocious making the customer pay for their own mistake. Would not ever recommend. Worse experience ever. Will be spreading the word of mouth

Booked my flight to Melbourne which showed a total of $755 but ended up getting charged $791.70. Please look into this immediately. The total amount at the final page was $755 so I believed it has include all charges and fees, unless you have other hidden charges which are not made known to customers at the final payment page!
