We stayed in a stand alone beach hut in March 2012. It was basic but clean and serviced every day. Could do with a bit of a make over but the main reason for our stay was the diving. The dining options were a little limited but always plenty of food and something freshly bbq'd or cooked every night.
The diving around Mabul was good, but diving at Sipidan Island is a must and was excellent. An early start but certainly worth it. The Water bungalows looked very nice and probably would stop there if we were to visit again should funds allow it. On the whole a good stay and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
