La Clusaz, Ski Weekender

This is a really perfect location for a getaway trip. The Chalet is so beautiful. They should post this on ECrent.com for rent. I am sure it can attract more customers. Register with "France", they can get three items uploading for free!

Found this company on line and would highly recommend them. The booking procedure was very easy and all contact contact prior to the visit was handled very well with all questions answered.

Pick up from the airport very smooth and the fact that it is only an hours drive helps immensely. On arrival, roughly 9.30 pm, we were fitted with skis and boots immediately from the store downstairs and given a 3 course meal with wine. Excellent.

Everything was then explained in full and the following day we were transported to the slopes at Great Bornard one of the two ski areas available. Had a great days skiing and then collected again. (If you miss the hotel bus there is a VERY efficient ski bus system).

The following day we were ski hosted in La Clusaz, the other resort and had a great time.

On the last day, because you do not have to vacate the room until 4.30 pm, we skied all day and then used the showers etc before being given tea and cake prior to the journey home.

The food was excellent with a good choice for breakfast and the evening meal. the tea and cakes in the afternoons were superb.

They also organised a snow shoe walk and sledging for those with the energy left.

Transport back to the airport was very good and I would a) return without hesitation for longer if possible and b) recommend this company to anyone.

I stayed with Ski Weekender last Christmas and had an amazing time! They picked me up from Geneva and we were back at the hotel in an hour. They have a boot room on site, so we got kitted out before dinner, and there was no time wasted the next day. Food was amazing - especially the Christmas buffet! Skiing was great - good coverage and hardly anyone around at that time. Also love the choice the ski bus gives you to decide between La Clusaz and Grand Bornard (or both!) each day, and the offer of one of their staff guiding you around, so no time wasted getting lost! On Christmas morning they organised a snow-shoe walk and picnic in gorgeous surrounds, which was a really nice thing to do! Cannot recommend Ski Weekender highly enough!!!!
