In June, My Wife And I Spent A Weekend With Columb
In June, my wife and I spent a weekend with Columbus International in Cannes. We booked a weekend on their Ducati Multistrada 1200.
On Friday evening, we were picked up from the airport and brought to a stunning hotel in Cannes. Best thing, the new Multistrada was already waiting at the hotel.
Saturday morning, Phil our guide on a Ducati Hypermotard picked us up from the hotel. We rode up the Col de la Bonette - Europe's highest road at 2802m - to capture some panorama views and on the way back followed the famous Route Napoloen. Exhausted from the ride, we had a quick bite to eat and called it an early night.
Sunday was spent relaxing in a private beach club. Great to do nothing for a day and go for a dip in the sea. Later in the afternoon we had to go back to the hotel and get ready for the flight home. The driver was already waiting to take us to the airport.
Overall, we had a great time. I can only recommend Columbus. It's not the cheapest, but attention to detail is second to none and the organisation spot on. We will definitely go again.
