Costa Blanca, Alicante Golf Club

Playing off 15 I managed to get round the Alicante Golf course in 92 or so, problem being no bail out areas. Course really tight and plenty of water, however if you want a challenge its the course for you. Greens were excellent. Bit of advice get a buggy, the course is very unusual as it is cut in amongst villas and there is a great deal of distance between holes but great fun and visually great.

After arriving in Alicante, (29 September) we had a job finding the Alicante Golf Club course, which was poorly sign posted. As our round was pre booked and paid, we were directed to the 10th tee where we had to queue for a time, the same happened at the 1st tee, because of the amount of people on the course we took (two of us) five and a half hours which by the time we were finished all interest in the game had gone. There were a lot of four balls on the course, surely a mobile ranger would help to speed the game up?
