We Have Played Lauro A Few Times Now Over The Past
We have played Lauro a few times now over the past decade.
In simple terms, it offers a decent standard of golf at a very reasonable price and is good to help keep the cost of an itinerary down. I describe Lauro as a "good stocking filler".
We are always met with a friendly welcome and the prices for food and drinks are not dear at all. The course itself comprises of 27 holes, which seem to be rotated fairly regularly. Whichever 18 you play, it's not overly long and there is no treking up hill and down dale. We have asked on one occassion if we could play all 27 at once and had no problem doing so at no extra cost.
Tee to green the course is well maintained. There are a few tight holes in and amongst, but on most holes you can open your shoulders and play some decent "holiday golf". The greens are always in decent nick and very receptive.
The only negative about Lauro is that it is a bit out of the way, but offers decent value for money when compared to similar priced courses on the coast.

Lauro Golf course. Greens, tranquility, views, friendliness, value for money. 20 mins from coast, not the longest course, can be hard work without a buggy. Brilliant value for money. Has the feel of a members course
