Metropolitan Touring Yacht La Pinta

This was our first visit to Galapagos Islands and memorable one also. We have booked La Pinta Yacht. The ship was really nice. Complete trip was terrific and enjoyable. The standard of service was excellent. I must say the itinerary was extremely interesting and enjoyable. The shore excursions were all very good. We had outside cabin. It was not very large, but it was comfortable. The food was good. We enjoyed a variety of delicacy. We had a great on board time.

We have been picked up from airport and escorted to the The Yach La Pinta which has been waiting for the passengers to board on. The Yacht was all set to take the passengers for Galapagos Islands tour. As soon as we boarded on ship the security staff performed a quick checking to ensure any of the passengers is not carrying any suspicious thing which might have been prohibited. Upon embarkment the Captain and other staff greeted us and we have been served refreshing fruit drinks. A briefing lecture was also arranged to make us familiar with the Yacht and Galapagos Islands and what our optional activities were to be for the day. The quick briefing also included on ship emergency and lifeboat demonstration as well as a few rules & regulations were explained.

Most afternoons snorkeling were offered and I personally enjoyed it very much. It's really amazing to watch and play with the fishes, turtles, and sea lions. These hideous looking creatures spit a white substance out of their noses at you as if to say "go back and leave us alone". All the islands are pure, and composed of young volcanic rock. The top of the volcano has a small lighthouse and possibly, the best view in the Islands.

Unless and until the staff and services at cruise are good you can't enjoy the tour. La Pinta has all the arrangements and facilities which can make your tour memorable. A variety of cabins were available. I have booked a cabin which was having a private balcony. I enjoyed the sea view from the sea facing window.

The staff was supportive and helpful. They were always at your service. They have nice arrangements of on board activities. I have enjoyed music, dance and even games. The cuisines served at restaurant were delicious. I have tried many of them and believe me it was really yummy. I felt like I am dining at a five star hotel. The services were good. Our guide was an experienced person who has in depth knowledge about Galapagos Islands. He escorted us to every itinerary and explained everything about that place like evolution, specialty and all other information which we were supposed to know.

I loved every place and enjoyed snorkeling and exploring the underwater kingdom.

This trip was among one of the unforgettable tour of my life. I would definitely want to repeat such wonderful experience with La Pinta Yacht ones again.
