In January of this year I had contacted Nature Expeditions, Peru, to set up an all day excursion. The trip involved kayaking at Pucusana on the 24th of March. I was contacted by Stefan Austermuhle on the the 9th of January, saying that I was registerd for this date, that we would coordinate further on, and that I was to inform him of any changes.

Prior to leaving for Peru, I had emailed Stefan, insuring him that I was still interested. I recieved no response. After arriving in Lima on the 17th of March, I tried two to three times to reach him, to set up my pickup time and go over any last minute details. Again, I recieved no response.

It was not until the day before the planned trip that I recieved a curt email response from Stefan. It simply said "sorry David. wont work tomorrow. cheers, Stefan." There was no explanation. By this late time, it was too late set something up with another company, although I tried for hours.

I feel that this was beyond being unprofessional. It exhibits a significant lack of consideration. I'm writing this because I don't want anybody else to have to go through this.
