Sigatoka, Rydges Hideaway Resort

We stayed at Sigatoka, Rydges Hideaway Resort, Dec 08 / Jan 09 and had a fantastic time. The staff are the friendliest people and so helpful. The Frangianpani Bure was huge and very comfortable - even and indoor shower and and outdoor shower and bath - bliss!! The food was excellent, especially the breakfast - really didn't need lunch. There is a tour desk to book day tours so that made things easy. The snorkelling at the front of the resort was wonderful - we even found Nemo! We researched this resort thoroughly before booking and were not disappointed - it was exactly as we imagined....but better due to the staff. We are going back this Christmas for 2 weeks and cannot wait! This is to be our yearly holiday now that we've found the perfect place.

We spent 7 wonderful nights here at the Hideaway Resort - it really was paradise. Friendly staff, fantastic food, great location. Would recommend.

I have been to Hideaway 3 times since 2004 and im going back again in 4 weeks !!

hideaway really is my home away from home. the staff are so friendly and not staff anymore to me, they're friends.

Everytime upon returning I get greeted with big smiles, "welcome home" and big hugs.

If you like a relaxed atmosphere, friendly people and having a good time this resort is perfect.

Every night from 5-6 is happy hour, with cheaper drinks, cheap cocktails and a bar game, a great way to get to know the other people staying at the resort.

Each year I have come home having made different friends at hideaway, and on my returning in February I will actually be going back with a family I met last year.

I recommend EVERYONE goes!

Food was ok, not good enough for the money you pay.

Resort was too small with loads of people, and far too noisy, couldnt relax at all.

Staff were friendly but the check in was awfull, and to be honest more effort could of been put in.

Wouldnt recommend it to a friend sorry.
