Playa Dorada, Gran Ventana Beach Resort

Everyone & everything 100% enjoyed it so much already booked to go back there.:D The staff couldn,t be more helpful & the food was absolutely gorgeous especially the octopus restaurant .... try the sea bass in coconut sauce.The beach bar was great as you can sunbathe & have food & drinks close by & in the evenings its a lovely restaurant.Its really nice to be able to sit outside by the pool watching the evenings entertainment & they also had good games during the day.Our room was always cleaned & our towels shaped like swans or a heart it was like one big happy family & they were always happy & found time to talk to you. I,d recommend the Gran Ventana beach resort in playa dorada. Dominican Republic every time .... the best holiday ever

the gran ventana beach resort is a very good hotel, great food, well equipped with comfortable, nicely furnished rooms. We were moved here half way through out holiday after a truly appalling experience at an alleged 5* TUI hotel down the coast.

Restaurants are very good, and the all-inclusive 'canteen' style dining room didn't disappoint either.

Very good beach, even got roped into playing some volleyball on a couple of occasions by friendly and enthusiastic staff.

We went to Gran Ventana Beach resort for my sisters wedding. The holiday was fantastic, and I would highly recommend the place to anybody. The cleanliness was unbelievable, along with staff friendliness.

The entertainment team always had activities going on, and definitely kept people entertained. They were great. Restaurants - Such a variety and they quality and quantity of choice was great, something for everyone to choose from.

The wedding - It was all arranged for my sister she just had to choose her flowers and turn up. The wedding co-ordinator and photographer were also great, and the gazebo was sent in a lovely location next to the beach but in a nice quiet private area.
