Guardalavaca, Paradisius Rio de Oro

I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are looking for pure relaxation and excellent service. Oh and you have to go swimming with the dolphins it was very cheap and the most amazing day of my life. Just a shame about the night life and the fact you are very much hotel bound.

In my opinion the hotel Paradisius Rio de Oro is not 5 star, the rooms are very tired and in need of redecoration, especially the bathrooms. The majority of the hotel staff are very amenable and appreciate that you are on holiday. Unfortunately a few spoil it, by being unreasonable and rude. During our stay we witnessed many complaints by British holidaymakers with regards to room allocations. I appreciate that a request, is in fact just that, a request. But it appeared that most of the British guests had not had them honoured. Which for a 5 star hotel, is bad customer service. The beach is OK, but not as good as others in Cuba.
