Washington, Omni Shoreham

We stayed here for 3 nights for the final part of our holiday. Absolutely beautiful hotel. The lobby is delightfully decorated and the staff very helpful. The rooms were very big, spacious with lovely bathroom and high quality products, towels and bathrobes. Wifi is free if you sign up to the members list which is also free to join. The hotel restaurant is of a very high standard. The east wing of the lobby provides you with a gift shop selling gifts as well as newspapers, magazines and travel sized toiletries. The west wing of the lobby has a very high class jewellry shop. There is an outdoor pool which is a good size as well as a hot tub and pool side bar. The hotel is a 15 minute taxi ride to the city centre but has a metro station 5 minute walk away from the hotel which gets you into the centre in about 10 minutes. The metro system is very reliable and very easy to use. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is going to Washington, D.C.
