Las Vegas, Desert Paradise

We stayed at Desert Paradise in Las Vegas for 7 days in October and were so pleased with it! We had a two bedroomed apartment which sleeps 6 (double sofa bed in living room). Both the bedrooms had walk in closet, and the master bedroom had a king size bed and en suite. The kitchen was modern and clean, and it had a dishwasher. The utility room had an ironing board, washer, and tumble dryer.

We stayed on the first floor, and the apartment had a balcony. Unfortunately it overlooked the car park! All three rooms had gigantic TV's as well, which was a great bonus for those jet-lagged nights!

There are 2 pools, both outdoor, but they didn't seem to be heated which was a shame. The family pool stayed open until midnight, and the other one was 24hrs. There were also 2 hot-tubs (VERY hot tubs!!) You're not allowed to take your apartment towels down to the pool, but you get topped up with them once your on the poolside.

Over 18's get use of a free gym as well, which is behind the reception. It's not big but it's got machines to work everything!

I also heard there was a shuttle bus to take residents grocery shopping, but we didn't bother with that because we had our own car... I believe having a car is essential to stay there if you want to visit the strip, because although you can see it from the resort, it's quite a journey away! (20 minutes by car. The roads are very busy).

It was lovely and quiet when we were there, but that might be because of it being late October.

Planes do fly over the resort from the McCarren Airport, but you barely notice them, and they're actually quite fun to watch, so no problem there! **Its not expensive either**
