Quality Inn International

Stayed for the second time on i drive in the quality inn and found the hotel very good value for money. the previous stay we stayed at quality inn plaza (the sister hotel) both hotels are excellent, very clean and excellent staff. We would reccomend this hotel to anyone especially those with kids as it has a very central location.

We stayed for a 2 week at quality inn 7600international drive

and after along flight and arriving early morning ,went to reception told were room was, found the room very clean maid service fantastic clean towels and bed made every day, bar staff very friendly we will definitely be staying here again.

We arrived for our first night in Orlando after a long flight to be greeted at the reception by 2 seedy looking characters at Quality Inn International information desk who tried to sell us a time share somewhere as soon as we said we were not interested they also lost interest in giving us information!

We were given our key and set off to find our room the appearance of the hotel reminded me of a block of council built maisonettes from the 1950s. Upon entering our room were very disappointed it looked like a prison cell the TV was older than me the controls had something disgusting all over them and reception on the TV was terrible! there was a great deal of noise from outside as the windows do not give any sound proofing! the sheets on the bed are very old and grotty looking.

My 13 year old daughter was in tears she was so disappointed the final straw were the cockroaches !!! we stayed for one night only because it was too late to do otherwise and transferred to Disney Pop Century which was excellent!

All in All I would class this hotel as a Dump and would not recommend it to anyone!!

The Quality Inn International is situated near the middle of International Drive, just a short distance from where Sand Lake Road crosses International Drive. The exit onto Sand Lake leaves you a stone's throw from the Interstate 4, which runs behind the hotel, we had a room overlooking the pool, so I can't tell whether noise from the interstate is a problem. The good news is, that there's a Shell petrol station by the hotel exit that is very reasonably priced, they were charging $2.14/US gallon when we were there a fortnight ago, when the petrol stations on Hotel Blvd near downtown disney were charging $2.51 per gallon. For fast food lovers, there's a hug McDonald's near the hotel exit and also a Denny's and Pizza Hut not too far away, but if you're looking for something more healthy the hotel restaurant offers a nice dinner buffet and as with breakfast, one kid eats free with each paying adult. The area doesn't seem to have a crime problem was it was reassuring to see security guards on both gates and also see them around the grounds. The rooms are basic and clean, and are equipped with a small fridge, microwave and key operated safe(available for use at no extra charge)Check inout was quick and hassle free. The only disappointment was how long it took on some days for housekeeping to finish in the room, we arrived back after 3pm one day and they were still doing the room!
