Kremlin Palace Was A Disaster, It Was The Worst Ho

Kremlin Palace was a disaster, it was the worst holiday i have ever been on. The staff were rude, when you asked for something or told them the toaster was broken they threw there hands up in the air and walked away. The rooms were discustingly filthy, and were in a seperate block. My daughter had to sleep on a small camp bed which was very unsteady and uncomfortable. This hotel is definatly NOT a 5* hotel! We had to move hotels it was so bad! Thomas cook said it was a 5* because of its facilties, which were not at all great, there were a few small slides, and that was it! I recommend to you that you do not go there! We will definatly not be using Thomas cook again either as they told us Kremlin palace was a 5* in their veiw, and it definately was not, they should be embaressed sending people there!

All In All We Had A Fantastic Holiday In Antalya A

All in all we had a fantastic holiday in Antalya at World of Wonders Kremlin Palace It only cost us £410 each and we didn't need to spend a penny apart from water sports (Motorised) and presents for the kids.

The staff were amazing, couldn't do enough to help as long as you are curtious to them they will help as much as possible.

On the one day we took a walk along the beach and sneaked into the other hotels which was a bit naughty but it was well worth it.

Space wise the Kremlin out shone the other hotels.

Out of the Concorde Royal wings & the Delpin Palace I would say the only one that matched in Beauty was the Delphin but as for space the Kremlin was fantastic.

Whoever goes to this hotel I hope you enjoy it as much as us.

I Have Been To Antalya And Istanbul Many Times, An

I have been to Antalya and Istanbul many times, and this was the worst experience I have ever had.

I have heard from some friends that have been there 2 and 3 years ago, and the World of Wonders Kremlin Palace hotel was nice with a good service. Now the hotel is very run down. There is a lot of marble everywhere, but is isn't ever polished, so it looks just like cheep stone. The bathroom was terrible, and there was mould around the bath. I had to really argue with my children to take a shower.

It was supposed to be all inclusive, but I would say there was very little included. Yes, there is food, but it was very basic. Turkish food is one of the best in my opinion, but in this case it was the worst. Even a simple hamburger looked like about 2 normal salami slices.

Outdoors, everything is made of metal, and it is corroded and probably hadn't seen paint since it was manufactured, including metal railings and the pool umbrellas; just about everything.

We arrived late at night and went to the main dining room to eat. There were some tomatoes, cucumbers and 2 kinds of cheese. In order to save electricity only a very dim light was on. There was no air conditioning at all, not even ventilation.

When checking out I was asked to return the key cards and the towel cards. I told them I don't know where the key cards were, and the towel cards I gave to the towel guy in order to get towels. The reception manager said I had to pay 14 Euros for each towel card and 5 Euros for the key cards, making it a total of 70 Euros for these plastic cards. I had a long argument with the manager, and only after I raised my voice did he agree to wave this charge, which does not exist anywhere in the world in any other hotel that I am aware of. When you leave you just throw them away. Maybe some people pay.

We travel a lot all over the world, and sometimes you like the hotel and the service, and sometimes it's just OK, but in this case it was terrible.

Usually I read reviews on the review Centre, and I have never contributed with my own review before, but this time I was so upset that I felt the obligation to do something about it.

Upon Arriving At The World Of Wonders Kremlin Pala

Upon arriving at the World of Wonders Kremlin Palace hotel, the reception area was really impressive, but the reception staff where not very polite or helpful. We had been upgraded to a family room which had 2 floors with 2 bathrooms, and a queen size bed and 2 single beds upstairs and loads of storage space. This was a bonus as it would have cost and extra £800 approx to book this in advance. The whole hotel was spotless. Where ever you looked there was somebody cleaning and tidying. The staff at the inside lobby bar worked non stop, constantly pacing the lobby floor which was the size of a football pitch clearing empty glasses and checking if you needed any drinks. They do 10 hour shifts 6 days a week for 300 euros a month, yet they still manage to smile. The choice of cocktails in the cocktail bar was great, but it could have done with some music and comfortable sofa chairs. The entertainment team always made sure that you were invited to join in with the days activities, and most were really friendly. The quality of the food in the main restaurant was excellent. The red and white wine was palatable but not excellent. We managed to get booked into the Italian a la carte, but we were not overly impressed, and wished we'd gone to the buffet. The fresh donuts made every day in the Tsars tent are to die for, with a choice of fresh jams each day for dipping. The snack bars were great for lunch with fresh salad and fruit always available. The weather was gorgeous during the first 2 weeks of June, with it reaching 40 degrees on our last day, but there was always a beautiful sea breeze. It was always easy to get a bed by the pool, even though the hotel was full. The shops in the hotel are extremely expensive and are definitely aimed at the wealthy Russian clients who frequent the hotel with their 'lady friends'.

Overall, we really enjoyed the holiday. There were only 20 English guests when we were there, which made you feel like you were really on holiday. My daughter at one point was the only English child, so it was pointless her using the mini club as she didn't understand a word they were talking about.

This was our first all inclusive holiday, and I would highly recommend it if you are after a relaxing time away from the typical English tourists who are hell bent on getting their moneys worth out of the 'free' booze. We are already looking to return next year!!

Have Just Spent Two Weeks At The Kremlin Palace, A

Have just spent two weeks at the Kremlin Palace, and have decided that the only thing it has in its favour, is that it is close to the airport and handy for the return journey home.

My family and I have visited Turkey on a number of occasions, and have found the Turkish people very friendly and keen to share the beauty of their country.

The Kremlin Palace is marketed as a five star hotel, but unfortunately the five star accommodation is let down by the poor service of some of its staff, and the terrible manners of some of its guests.

The hotel is situated away from the real Turkey as I know it, and in an area, which no doubt will develop into a more vibrant area in the next ten years.

We arrived a party of four (Two adults and two children) having paid a large amount of money for a family room. Unfortunately we were given a standard twin room, and informed that two extra beds could be put into the room if we wished. When we refused to accept the room and asked for the room we had booked, the hotel staff claimed that the travel agent was at fault and we could have a larger room for an extra seven hundred pounds. When we refused to pay the extra money, the hotel management refused to furnish our party with the room we had orginally booked, and their only comment was "tough". Eventually we were able to get the holiday rep. to re-negotiate on our behalf, and a compromise was reached which still left us out of pocket.

The quality of service received in the hotel was soley dependant upon the member of staff you happened to ask for help. No doubt staff suffered as we did, from the poor manners of guests who pushed to the front of queues, and very rarely used the words please or thank you.

The quality and selection of food was first class, however sometimes finding somewhere to eat it could be a problem. The large dining room did not seem to have enough waiters to continually keep tables clean for immediate use.

Specialist restaurants were made available, but it was impossible to book reservations on the automatic telephone booking system.

The range of sports facilities was satisfactory, and the pool area very good.

Entertainment staff worked very hard to please guests. Children being particularly well catered for in the mini club.

Take plenty of sun cream and basic toiletries, including something for that headache or upset tummy. The hotel shops charge extortionate prices for basic items.

This was the first all inclusive holiday we have taken, and it will probably be the last. We spoke to a number of British families who were of the same opinion.

Antalya World Of Wonders Kremlin Palace - Overall

Antalya World of Wonders Kremlin Palace - Overall we enjoyed our stay as we decided to see the funny side in the way this hotel was ran. We would not go to another hotel run by this company or return to this hotel as when you pay for a 5 star hotel you expect higher standards from the staff. But for a family holiday, the facilities were amazing and when we arrived we were totally gobsmacked by how much there was to do and how huge the place was.
