Side, Pasha Star Hotel

We have been to this hotel three times now, and we are amased at how clean the apartments are, in fact there are cleaned every day with clean towels every day. The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to please you. The food is good and reasonably priced. There is also a courtesy bus that takes you to the beach every day and brings you back. This hotel is definitely good value for money and I would recommend it to anybody. It has a really good atmosphere.

The customer service we received from the staff at Gazipasa Pasha Star was terrible. They were extremely rude to us, very unprofessional and at times aggressive and intimidating. They were impossible to talk to and reason with. The manager and reception staff seem clueless about how to treat their guests whilst the bar staff were only interested in being friendly to us if we were buying drinks or food off them. When we stopped attending the nights they put on at the hotel because we disliked the food they served, they no longer paid any attention to us whatsoever. As a 20 year old female, I felt in particular that the bar staff were sleazy and inappropriate in some of the things they said to me.

In terms of the hotel, pool and our room we were fairly content. They all seemed good value for what we paid even if the air con and fridge were not included in the price. The hotel could therefore have been a wonderful place for me and my boyfriend to spend our first holiday together but it was the poor manners of the staff which really wrecked our time out there.

Another thing I wanted to mention is the location. The area is not well lit and we felt uncomfortable walking back to the hotel at night. The staff do not seem to take the security of their guests into consideration at all. We had a strange Turkish man we had never seen at the hotel before knock on our door at 1am in the morning with two drinking glasses. When we asked him what he was doing, he ran off down the corridor. We were concerned so we reported it to reception who told us it was probably just a drunk from outside the reception. No attempt was made to reassure us or to investigate the matter further. In fact, we were at one point even accused of lying about the incident!

In my opinion, the Pasha Star hotel has the potential to be a good value hotel with very good prices. At present though this is undermined and spoilt by its staff who need to re-consider their attitudes and learn the basics of good customer service. I would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone. You would be better of paying a little bit more for better service as the service we received wrecked our holiday.

We arrived at the Pasha Star Hotel with negative views due to reports on the internet but must say when we got here we were really susprised with the standard of the hotel the friendlyness of the staff the high stanard of food and overall cleaness i would definatly return again and recomend this hotel

Second year at Pasha Star Hotel, Side and we weren't disappointed. The waiters go out of their way to make sure you have an extremely enjoyable time. Food and drinks very reasonably priced and in comparison with the surrounding bars and restaurants. The bar staff have the patience of saints. Many mornings we were up at the bar till about 5am ish and you would see them all return to work at about 11am ish with smiles on their faces. We are definitely returning to this hotel next year and have already booked last week in July/first week in August.

Everything, it was just a proper amazing holiday. The staff were awesome occasionally going on a night out with one or two of them. Food was extremely nice. You don't really need any of the extras as you just end up sleeping there and are usually to drunk to bother with caring about air conditioning, it was all good fun for like a week at £215. It just takes a bit of time to get around to places, but no problems with the hotel. The first thing I saw when I got off the plane and out the airport was a dead cat. Which I thought what have I let myself into, but it was really good I'd go again and am planning to also.

For the price this place was excellent, the 4 kids enjoyed themselves make sure you use factor 50 for the kids (Boots Soltan was perfect applied once a day and no one burnt). My wife and myself also had a great time lounging by the pool etc. Our trips were fine even the boat but we booked through an independent (MR CHEAP).
