Miray Hotel - Icmeler Turkey

Hotel is very well situated - near the beach and near the "main street" where to get Dolmus to Marmaris area, staff really nice and friendly. Room was clear and nice. It was my 3rd time this summer in Marmaris/Icmeler - this was absolutely the best hotel where have been. We didn't stay in pool because I love the sea, but pool seems to be ok.

Just got back from a week in the Miray Hotel in Icmeler, Turkey - The hotel has been refurbished and is very clean and really central the staff cannot do enough for you - rooms cleaned every day with fresh towels. We had bed and breakfast - continental which is fine. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Im already looking at going back in August. Icmeler it self is lovely - the people are so friendly and there are some excellent restaurants with entertainment - A sunbed with parasal is only £1.40 a day - you can eat out with 2 bottles of wine for about 60 turkish lira per couple with is less than £30 !!!! If I go back again I will take some english pounds with me and transfer into lira because the rates there are excellent. I had a quick look round some other accomodation while I was there and couldnt really find any bad hotels - but value for money The Miray came out the best for us - needless to say the weather was lovely - its about 8km from Marmaris - we didnt visit - but its much more commercialised than Icmeler. Just one thing to consider when booking - i would pay the extra and get a taxi transfer and not a mini bus and coach - as its 2 hours from airport - its a long journey and people who are staying at Marmaris would get dropped off first and the drivers are not always sure where the hotels are!!! - I think Icmeler is ideal for young and old, families and couples - hope this information is helpful to you -
