Amazing View, Poor Quality

we spent 5 nights in this resort, it's view is AMAZING , both of their swimming pools are very nice and clean, nice activites by the pool every morning but,

1. haven't seen a single lifeguard by the pool!

2. the food was OK but not very good, sometimes the salads and the fruits were not fresh. lots of flies flying over the dessert plates in the buffet!

3. the room was big but, the hotel needs renovation badly. the carpet had stains on it. the plumbing in the bathroom was horrible!

We Stayed At Tusan Beach, Kusadasi, Turkey From Th

We stayed at Tusan Beach, Kusadasi, Turkey from the 17th - 24th June 2006 and it was the best holiday that we have ever been on. There was 11 of us and all had a fantastic time. All of the teenagers had a brilliant time and were very safe around the hotel and all made friends with people and animation team! Enjoyed everything and will be going back! Food was nice and drinks were good especially the cocktails!

We Stayed At Kusadasi, Tusan Beach Resort On The 1

We stayed at Kusadasi, Tusan Beach Resort on the 10th to 25th May. Although there are niggles there minor and didn't affect the overall enjoyment of the holiday.

The hotel is built on three complexes, the first has the lobby, reception, main bar, sun terrace, main pool and snack bar, the snack bar has windows that see into the pool! it "sells" pizzas, sandwiches, chips and burgers.

Our room was in the main building with a great view of the sea and pool.

The second complex holds the cinema, bar, shops, smaller outside pool, this leads to the third complex with the main dining room (used by all for breakfast), smaller dining room/outside for AI guests.

We found the food repetitive, either chicken, meatballs, turkey or fish but it tasted fine and you could mix and match! There was a chef on hand with a BBQ, cooking chicken thighs, sausages, the meatballs, tomatoes and onions.

Breakfast was sliced meats, cheese baps, bread and jam. Brits had hard boiled eggs toast, pancakes, fried eggs or omelettes, freshly cooked on a griddle, tea, coffee and juice (this juice was cordial squash, I prefer proper fruit juice in the morning! it wakes me up after all that beer!).

All this was served buffet style apart from the BBQ.

The pool is surrounded by adjustable sun loungers and there was very little reserving (for May).

The main pool had a small bar and entertainment area, with table tennis and pool table. Downstairs led to the snack bar.

Now special mention to the animation team - they keep you busy with poolside games, waterpolo, basketball, football, air rifle, shuttleboard, killer darts/pool, water aerobics etc, or you can laze about by the pool making sure the beer kegs are empty...

The excellent animation team also handle the night time shows in its amphitheatre, Mini disco, comedy, dance and a disco for all from 11-1 at night.

They really make you feel welcome and wanted during our entire stay there, big thumbs up from all.

Hotel staff were excellent especially the pool man, it rained sand while we were there and it took the poor fella three mornings to vacuum it out!

The Tusan Beach Resort has its own beach with a big banana ride, pedalos and 1/2 man canoes and mini cruise (fee payable, 10 Euros each approx), be careful as the beach waterline has some rocks underwater.

We went to Ephephus and nearby town Kusadasi with its genuine-real-fakes by minibus, prepare to be hassled with as soon as you arrive.

We found Selcuk - a better town, smaller but no/little hassling, apart from restaurants.

Since we went in may some of the facilities were not available, some bars and kiddies ice cream.

We enjoyed our stay at the Tusan Beach Resort especially the animation team and new friends we all met.
