Sun Apartments Marmaris

The Sun appartments were not for me. Most of the guests who stay there return year after year and really enjoy it, but not me. I travelled with my husband and two children 6 and 10. On the plus side, the rooms are large and bright. We had a family room that had a room with 2 single beds for children, another large room with double bed for us and a large sitting room - you will have to pay for tv. Very basic bathroom with broken shower cubicle and plug that didn't fit in the sink. very old and tatty. No hot water after 4pm (but that is due to solar power water so understandable). Grounds are lovely with nice gardens. We went to Sun Apts Resturant for breakfast, but the large screen showing cage boxing and bloody faces was not for young children - although other guests liked it. The pool has no shallow end, and is very deep all around (I could not touch the floor) which meant my 6 year old couldn't go in alone - he was quite upset about this. There is a toddler pool, but he was too old for that (ankle deep water). For children, the walk to the beach is too long in the hot weather, so you will need to take a taxi - costs about £2.00 one way, so not much. Once more thing, the keys fit in the doors of other appartments, in different blocks - so be careful of your belongings. If you are going with teenagers who like to drink alot, you will probably like it here.

we had a fantastic time at sun apartments in armutalan marmaris ,we have stayed here lots of times, the staff are fantastic and can not do enough for you , we even stayed for xmas this year , there was a real english xmas dinner with all the trimmings ,a santa for our little girl it was fantastic deffo going back xmas this year. I would recomend this to all families young old singles couples ,

The Apartments are very spacious but basic. Cleaners came in everyday keeping them spotlessly clean. The balcony from my Apartment was adequate.

The pool is extremely clean and was kept like that throughout our holiday.

The staff were very welcoming when we arrived and were polite and helpful throughout our holiday. They werent in your face all the time like other hotels ive been at.

It was dissappointing to have to pay for the pool table and access to the internet. This would amount to a small fortune you would have to pay to these facilities if you had a few kids.

The Apartments are situated in a quieter area of Marmaris and are a 15 mins walk from the beach front.

One good factor about these apartments was that there is a security guard walking round the apartments all night keeping everything safe and sound.
