Pineta Club Hotel

The Pineta Club Hotel was brillient it was the best holiday i have ever been on the pools were always cleaned and i took my 14 year old daughter and all the young staff loved her they wanted to buy her off me, but i dint. I got a bit worried when one of the staff asked if he could take my daughter out to the town she liked him as a friend but you know what teenage girls are like when they like someone, so i told her no. Anyway the next day they kept askiing if they could so in the end i said yes but not alone, so i sent her 24 year old sister with her they went to the beach and had fun so thats all.

I would have rated this hotel 0 but for the sunshine!! I really can't think of anything nice to say about it but I'll start from the beginning...

We arrived at the hotel and was shown to our room, there were 4 of us and with 4 suitcases we couldn't swing a cat, we thought the room was dirty and the bathroom ceiling was leaking, I went straight to reception to asked to be moved and in all my years of going abroad I have never met such (in my opinion) ignorant staff. We have been to Turkey 5 times and have never experienced anything like it, the manager sat in his office and kept relaying messages to me through the staff and I didn't even find them helpful!! But anyway we stayed in the room Because I couldn't be bothered to argue, we were at the hotel for 2 weeks and our bedding got changed once and that was 2 days before we left and only because I kept complaining to the rep. We never got clean towels because no-one came to clean the room, everyday I had to go to reception and ask for clean towels and everyday after ringing and going to reception at least 3 times we might get them!!

We tried the food for a couple of days and I'm sorry to say I have never tasted anything like it in my life, I thought it was disgusting, we are not fussy eaters but there was noway on this earth that I was going to subject my family to eating that and we ate out! After queuing for at least 15mins with no air con in the restaurant it began to feel like torture, then we finally get our meal (which was only luke warm) and then we have to find a table, by the time we had done this the luke warm meal was now cold!! The drinks were flat and warm and the waiters and we thought bar staff looked miserable. I thought here was not enough sunbeds around the pool and the attendant was taking money and saving sunbeds for people, so if you're prepared to pay 5 lira per day you will be OK for a sunbed!! In my view there's not enough room where the evening entertainment takes place, if you can call 1 game of bingo lasting 1 hr entertainment!! I will never return to the Pineta.

Marmaris is a lively and friendly environment!! The Pineta Club hotel itself was excellent, but the food let the hotel down!!! The town was also excellent, as everything was really close by!!

The water park was one of my favourite things that I experienced when I was in Marmaris. It was cheap and a great day out at that!!!

All the people who actually live and work there were all really friendly and helpful!

If you're looking for a family based budget holiday this is the place you should go!!

Overall it was excellent, and I would definitely recommend it to family and friends!!
