Pink Palace Hotel

Rooms basic but you are in Turkey and don't spend much time in your room. Hotel staff friendly and other guests give it a family feel.

Food available even for picky eaters.

Local towns fab for nights out or shopping or people watching in a bar.

All seems very safe.

Local transport easy to use and get around different towns. Taxis can be expensive.

Most shops accept £ as well as Turkish lira.

Would definitely go again

We arrived at 21.30 reception not very welcoming just "Hello arm please" we were given our keys and a man took us the whoe 5 feet to our room door then asked for a tip !

The room was so noisey but we could not be moved as nearly every other guest had complained so no room hey were ignored by staff and visitors even in the dinning area and ashtrays were in every room.

It is tierd and rundown it needs a lot of little things doing like light bulbs replacing and broken shower trays and sinks mending,bedding and towels were full of holes and freyed and very rough and only a bottom sheet and throw was on the bed,which were very uncomfortable.

The staff were very freindly to the visitors who go for long holidays or who return year after year but only just managed to crack a smile at others.

No smoking signs were posted all over but

The food wasnt bad but only two choices at lunch and dinner there was only four items on the salad bar.

The all inclusive drinks were,beer,gin vodka or raki plus tea coffee and soft drinks,no cocktails white or dark rum or whiskey.

We did not complaine as every time we went to see the rep there was a que of people waiting to complaine and the complaint form filling in took ages.

The pool was lovely and clean but every so often the smell wafting around the poo was disgusting and when the lorry came to pump the cesspit out which is under the pool the smell turned everyons stomach.

The gardens that were advertised in the brochure were tiny and had one apple tree.

It is conveniently located in fact too convenient as it is smack bang next to a verry VERY busy main road with horrific traffic and noise.

We have been on a lot of all inclusive holidays with Olympic and this is the first time we have felt let down by them

DONT GO WITHOUT A BODYGUARD - Surly, Aggressive Bar Staff (approx age 28) three of whom attacked my 14 year old grandson hospitalising him for 2 days with a dislocated jaw and splintered ribs. Hotel Manager kept them on at the hotel!!!

Usually standard local hotel, if you are a person that likes to go on the lash every day of your holiday, this is for you, if not, go for the non all inclusive hotels
