Kivanc Hotel

I have just come back from staying at the Kivanc in Gumbet. Lovely resort, but the hotel, although it appears to be nice, was awful. The pool was rarely cleaned, our room was never once cleaned of rubbish so it stacked up. We came across a couple of ants nests in our room, which were just swept up by the cleaners. On the last day we paid to keep our room on until 8.00pm so we could shower before our flight, but our shower flooded so we had to use clean towels to clean up the mess. We asked to go to a different room, but the room they gave us was derelict with ceiling tiles all over the floor. The shower was hanging off the wall and ripped mattresses were stacked up against the wall. When we complained we were blamed for breaking and flooding our shower. Our rep contacted the hotel to let them know that our flight had been delayed by 3 hours and they didn't inform us. Reception complaining that our linen was soiled, although we explained that our shower flooded and that's how we cleaned the bathroom. Gumbet was a lovely holiday and I would definitely go back, but just not to the Kivanc.
