Good restaurants on beach ,best by far was the Blue Moon just 100 meters from makumba. Best breakfast in turkey,only 4 pound,thay do lovely meals in the evenings.Run by Brits. Boat trips are a must out all day for 10 pound.

We Had Been To These Apartments The Previous Year
We had been to these apartments the previous year and had an excellent holiday, which is why we decided to return in 2007. On our arrival we were met by the same owners who were extremely pleased that we had returned to their apartments. We had requested to be on the first floor, as the previous year we were on the ground floor and had a problem with ants, cats, fleas etc. We did get to have our apartment on the first floor and on first impressions they were much the same as last year. However, when we started to settle in and unpack we found that both rooms could have done with a better clean and that the previous occupiers had not completed their washing up and had just left their dirty dishes on the drainer and the cleaner had made no attempt to clean or put them away. Also, when we arrived, Turkey was in the middle of a heatwave and temperatures were in the mid 40s to early 50s so we requested that we had the air conditioning on at a cost of £5 per day. As we had the air conditioning the previous year, we were a little shocked to discover that the rooms were not cooling off as they should, so we informed the owners who told us that due to the very hot weather the air conditioning was not cooling off as quickly as it should and that it was also hotter on the first floor than on ground level. We took their word for it and coped as best we could for a couple of days, when the temperatures dropped to normal for the time of year, the air conditioning did seem to work better for a while then went back to how it was, so we complained again and we were told that there was no problem with the way it worked and that we were being difficult, we then told the owners that we were not going to pay for the air conditioning as it was not working properly, they got angry with us and we told them that an engineer must come and have a look at it. The next day an engineer did come and look at the air conditioning and found that there was a problem with the filters and this was then rectified, we then found that the rooms were much more cooler, so agreed to pay a percentage of the first weeks costs as we were not willing to pay the full costs, this was accepted via our tour rep.
We also had four pairs of brand new boxer shorts taken from my sons room, which we believe was due to the cleaner, her room was searched but they were never found. The cleaner did actually leave two days later.
At the end of the holiday we paid the extra £10 charge to keep one of our rooms for a shower etc before our departure, I cleaned my sons room, who never actually slept in the room. It was too hot in there so he was in with us with the air conditioning. We returned the key to reception on the morning of our departure. When we were due to leave, I cleaned our room and went down to reception to hand the key in and was told that we still had a bill to pay. We were a little shocked as we had cleared all outstanding bills two days previous. We were told that the bill was for breakages in my sons room, again I was very shocked as he had stayed in our room and only kept his belongings in his room, so I told them that this must be a mistake and that I was not going to pay for the breakages as they were not caused by us. We were then told that if we did not pay then the police would be called in, we will be arrested and would not be able to fly home that day. We were very upset by this and paid the bill as we just wanted to leave. We told them that this had not been an enjoyable holiday and we were told, I don't care. We left the apartments very upset and angry. I will be informing the holiday company and hope that in future the Cennet Apartments will not be appearing in their brochure.
We were not the only unhappy guests staying there, everyone was complaining about the how dirty the rooms were and that the sheets and towels were not changed twice a week as they should be. We had to ask for them to be cleaned, which is unacceptable.
Please be careful if you stay at Cennet and keep an eye on what you are being charged, as they are only interested in taking your money!
Bitez is a lovely resort and we have made many friends, it was a shame that the accommodation was so poor.

Bitez is a great place to stay. It's not full of night clubs but is in close proximity to it all.
The beach is clean and has a great atmosphere. I would go again and definitely preferred it to Bodrum and Gumbet both of which you pass through on route.
Book your trips down on the beach as they are cheaper and they are very reliable. Go on the free Turkish Bath offered by the holidays 4 u rep it was great.

Great, small quiet pool for the peace and quiet. That's if you like that sort of stuff. But it's only 4 Lira away from all the night life. It was nice to go back to the quiet pool and relax the hangovers away by the pool at the Bitez Cennet Apartments in Turkey. Staff were very polite and happy, and the apartment was very clean, but the fridge was rotten inside. I personally missed having a TV.

Bitez Cennet Apartments - Had a fab holiday here as quiet but 5 mins from centre of resort and beach. Small pool, quiet bar with music playing softly at night. Very helpful staff.
