Springfield Country Hotel Leisure Club & Spa, Dorset

We came as a party of 8+ and we were sincerely disappointed with the staff and the overall hotel. Staff on arrival seemed to have no idea what they were doing and did not inform us of where our rooms where let alone when breakfast was being served! The bar is over priced and the waiters would ask if you like anything for you then to make an order and to be told to actually go to the bar yourself and pay for it there? Hotel genuinely lacks staff competency and overall has completely dropped in rating!!!!!

When considering how good any hotel is, I believe there are two main criteria; firstly that of the building & surroundings etc, & secondly of the staff.

Here the former is pretty good. The hotel's grounds are attractive & the decor is tidy. The hotel is well equipped with facilities & is spacious & comfortable. The later I can't rate highly enough. We found all the staff to be very attentive & helpful.
