Ventnor, The Royal Hotel

The rooms were big had air condition, TV, dressing table and bed. The overall impression of the hotel was good. It was big and had lovely gardens and a swimming pool. The staffs were very helpful if you needed any help. (They should be you have to pay quite a lot). The whole structure of the building was very "royal", you could say. There are beautiful gardens and a computer which has internet access that you can use if its free. There is also wireless internet so if you have a laptop you can use the internet on it. The food was satisfactory. Because there were many people having the same thing it was confusing. The time it took the starters to arrive was satisfactory. The main course should have arrived earlier. The service was below average; at the price they charge they could have improved it. The waiters were kind of confused who to give what food to they were like "is this yours?" because there were many people having the same thing it was confusing. The taking orders process was long and dragged on for quite a while. You have to pay for the dinner separately. This is very unfortunate but true. My mother had her bag stolen which was left in the hotel while the whole family went out to the nearby beach at night. So if you decide to go there, remember, there in my opinion there is no real value for money in the hotel. If you do go your windows of the room are very tough to open and some don't even open. The Hotel has very poor service and facilities compared to what it claims.
