Rooms could do with updating at the Sandown, Wight Montrene Hotel,but they are clean and comfortable.Staff very helpful and polite.Food and choices first class.Jaccuzi not working when we stayed.Bar and dance floor very good and decent entertainment.Very close poroximaty to the Promenade and centre of town.Good carparking.

From the friendly greeting we first received to the farewell chat with the owner we felt welcome and very well looked after during our New Year 4-night break. The rooms need a little modernising, but the family rooms we had were clean and tidy and had everything we needed. Our children, were thrilled with the pool and the games room and my husband was thrilled with the full-size snooker table! The food was beautfully cooked and the variety was good; the service was friendly and prompt. All in all a great family hotel - would definitely go back there again.
