Hilton Isle of Man, Douglas

We had a small twin room on the second floor of the Hilton Isle of Man, we were above fans that were on all night and kept us awake. There is no air conditioning in the rooms, and the temperature was 81F even at night. This constant heat made my asthma worstWe were given another room at our request, and that was quieter but still the same temperature. The room was smaller still and not worth the cost. The rooms were like you would expect at a travel inn, the TV picture was very poor due to bad reception and sometimes unwatchable. We have stayed in Hilton hotels before and this is the first time We have regretted doing so. This was to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, and it was ruined.

Clean and modern rooms. Polite staff. The pizza place on the promenade level was awful. Very rude staff. Value for money and pleasant stay. Beautiful island.

Not only was the room I had at the Hilton Isle of Man for 2 days of an excellent standard, the food and very attentive staff made the stay for me and some of my close business associates very pleasant. We enjoyed hospitality with a warmth that can often be very hard to find in this country. I travel all over the world and have visited some magnificent places and hotels alike, but when looking purely at level of service, the Hilton staff rise above many. Thank you.
