Jersey, Apollo Hotel

My partner originally booked to visit this hotel with a friend who had to cancel a few days before they were due to leave. I was, luckily, able to revise my schedule to accompany her instead.

We stayed for 3 nights from 28th April to 2nd May 2016. Due to the time of our flights we arrived at the hotel four hours before check in. Not only did they accept our cases (expected) but took them up to our room shortly after. They were happy to oblige by switching the twin room booked for a double.

The first evening we decided to eat in the hotel restaurant. Enjoyable food, well presented and great value.

The price included full breakfast, making the value even better. There was no shortage of choice. If you wanted cereals they were available - but we enjoyed their self service, eat as much as you like, full English breakfast. in addition, our waitress brought pots of tea and coffee plus toast.

The prices in the bar were on a par with local pubs - unlike certain budget hotels in England where the bar prices are sky high.

My partner's reaction to the hotel that first evening was "we're going to stay here the next time we visit Jersey"
