Rather scruffy and not too clean. However, ideal for boating holiday with good launch area and jetty. Marvelous views and wildlife. Lovely estate to walk in. Very private. We had a marvelous holiday there. Pity the estate is to be developed.

Booked up and paid months before for the Loch Awe,Side, Anchorage Cottage. Drove several hundred miles, eagerly anticipating our stay at an apparently idyllic, self catering, loch side haven of tranquillity, arriving on the Saturday of a busy Bank Holiday weekend, only to find the owners had double booked and claimed not to have contact details to even have been able to warn us in advance of our arrival. Beware it doesn't happen to you too. Suffice to say we will avoid the place when next in beautiful Argyll
