Helensburgh, Ardencaple Hotel

Food was just OK, standard pub grub/mixed grills/steaks. Waitress was a very young posh student who wasn't very helpful. Seemed to have a feeling of superiority, I'd say. Décor is from the 1970's and needs a bit of money spent on it. The place could be used as a location for "Life on Mars".

Wouldn't be rushing back.

Had great meal. Nice steaks reasonably priced. Lots of Royal Navy families in the place from nearby base - loud and noisy and kids running around. Spoiled the night/evening and staff not bothering.
