For a wonderful break in the countryside try to visit Tambowie Farm which is 8 miles from the bustling city of Glasgow. We stayed in the charming, traditional old farmhouse and enjoyed a home cooked breakfast in the rustic kitchen - the lady of the house is always happy to take special diets into account. Golfers have 8 courses to choose from within a 4 mile radius and there is access to Edinburgh, Glasgow, Stirling and the breathtaking scenery of Loch Lomond and the Trossachs. The farmhouse boasts all mod cons including internet access and wi-fi and the atmosphere is relaxed and informal. We were given a portrait photography package worth £160.00 at no cost to ourselves as a thank you for our custom. For those who don't drive there is free transport to the town of Milngavie at 9am each morning and we left the car and paid a visit to the quaint little town.
