No Lifts To Upper Rooms At The Aberfeldy Breadalba
No lifts to upper rooms at the Aberfeldy Breadalbane Arms Hotel. Windows would not open. bed not fresh blankets instead of a duvet. Food passable but you get what you pay for.
We Have Just Returned From The Breadalbane Arms Ho
We have just returned from the Breadalbane Arms Hotel. The beer tasted awful to me. TMy food was disgusting. The room that we had was too small for a double, there was no floor space. The bed was like a block of wood. There were blankets on the beds which I think is very unhygenic. They should have duvets. We had booked in for two nights but we had to leave after the first night as it was so bad. We thankfully got our deposit back.

I Have Just Returned From A Most Relaxing 4 Night
I have just returned from a most relaxing 4 night break in this old-fashioned but reliable hotel. I loved the food and service and my cosy single room with en-suite bathroom and shower. Good entertainment and International staff who know what service is all about. I WILL be going back!

The Service Was Excellent With The Staff Always Sm
The service was excellent with the staff always smiling and nothing too much trouble for them. The food was delicious and plentiful, often too much at times, with a varied variety of choices. The locals were very friendly and helpful and warmly welcomed me to join with them in singles and doubles, pool competitions. The bar staff gave excellent advice on their large variety of malt whiskies.
The room had been recently decorated with new carpets, en suite bathroom,( if you want a shower in your en suite, then ask for one when you book, no point in complaining afterwards.) There was also colour tv, and kettle with tea and coffee making facilities. Storage heating was also provided. Plenty of room in the car park to the rear of the hotel.
Entertainment was provided each evening in the lounge by a variety of artistes and even the local penny flute player added his contribution to the evenings entertainment, along with some great banter from some of the guests, some who have been to the Breadalbane on numerous occasions. I for one will be back for more.
Value for money. Ten out of ten.
Thanks to all the staff for making our stay most comfortable and memorable.

I Think The Aberfeldy Breadalbane Arms Hotel Was N
I think the Aberfeldy Breadalbane Arms Hotel was not clean. I found the food barely edible. No duvets on our beds. Mattresses lumpy. Toilet seat was broken.. I would really not recommend.

No shower, wash hand basin in room no bath room, very poor flushing of toilet, very restrictive meal times, bed linen not particularly clean, no soap in bathroom, one barman serving two bars. Final point reception unmanned during day. Food OK but not great, would not recommend this hotel.

I Am Just Back From Aberfeldy Arms Hotel From 2nd
I am just back from Aberfeldy Arms Hotel from 2nd till 5th May 2008 and the Breadalbane was by far the worst hotel I have encountered in years with the cheek to take money for the stay. The rooms are small and dirty. The toilet floor was covered with hairs, the sink and the bath were chipped and filthy, NO shower in room and NONE available anywhere else. The beds were old and mine had a sideways slope and they had grubby blankets not duvets. The windows would not open and were single glazed which let in the noise from the town Square (opposite) which is like the wild west till around 3 in the morning and were always running with condensation with the lack of ventilation.
The Hotel is listed as having been renovated over the winter but NO signs of this was evident as the hotel carpets were worn and holed.
The food was grim but edible (not a lot of it). The staff were extremely friendly but the Management were very ignorant, and worse, if you had the cheek to ask for clean towels or complain about anything. As for the entertainment, on Friday there was a "singer" aged 84 he told us and believe me he COULD NOT sing, the Country and Western group were OK on Saturday if that's your taste.
I had an elderly relative with me and as it was a Bank Holiday Weekend there were no rooms available anywhere else or we would have moved. This was echoed by everyone we met in the hotel and everyone agreed they would NEVER stay here again.
Go to the Weem Hotel just over Wades Bridge or the Palace in the main street for a far better hotel.
