Woodbridge, Ufford Park Hotel, Golf & Leisure

I am not a golfer, and the Ufford Park Golf & Leisure Hotel in Woodbridge is definitely a hotel that survives on the fact that it is part of a golfing complex, and it may offer an experience to golfers that is invisible to the non-devotees of the sport. This is a well below par "Travel Lodge" style accommodation at twice or even three times the price. Admittedly, if you are on one of their big discount late offers then it might be OK. We found that the food is distinctly average, and the staffing puts a capital C on casual. When you arrive at this hotel if you are paying beyond three figures a night, then like us, you may feel an immediate uh-oh factor.

Where this hotel really succeeds is putting you off the whole Best Western chain!
