Skegness - The North Parade Hotel

The north parade hotel is a family run business that offers in my view the perfect family get away. myself, wife and 4 kids (eldest 7, youngest 8 months) have just returned from a 3 night stay - we took two family rooms the better of which was "Room 7", room 7 has forward facing views over the main parade route, with the sea some 200 yards outside the hotel, directly to the left of the hotel was the seal sanctuary, stright ahead is the pier and the water, and to the right is a small convinence store and the main pathway with all the arcades and attractions.

so yes the location is perfect. Now i am a large fella so finding a place that can fill my tum is a challenge, the food was really nice. the pies are cooked as individual portions so you know your not getting yesturdays left overs.

Now the only fault i could find with the hotel is the lack of any internet facilities, the signal in skegness is extreamly poor so it would have been great to have a wireless connection in the hotel. This being said most of the patronage the hotel receives are elderly so lack of internet facilities is understandable.
