Sandcombe Hotel, Weymouth

We have just spent four nights at the Sandcombe Hotel in Weymouth. It is exactly what a seaside hotel should be:no pretensions to "boutique " status just a friendly welcoming place ,clean and comfortable .

The owners David and Sheila could'nt do enough for us and despite a bereavement in their family they went out of their way to be helpful.

The location is superb-the harbour at the rear and the sands in front . While we were there there was the bonus of the tall ship "Pelican of London" moored in the harbour outside our bedroom.
