Risby, The White Horse Guest House

Pictures on Booking.com looked lovely, pulled up to find a very sad looking building that we thought was completely closed, we were very disappointed ! Check in was from 4pm we were early and doors were locked, and there isn't anything near by !

Money asked for up front which we aren't used to, room was clean and very pleasant, en suite was very small and in need of refurbishment.

Chef apparently sick, but looking back at previous reviews has been for sometime, we weren't made aware of no food being cooked in the evening prior arrival, we then had to find our own way for somewhere to eat, a map was given, not quite the Wedding anniversary we were expecting.

All staff very friendly and helpful though, but breakfast was very basic and not very generous and only served between 8:30-9:30 so a bit of a rush to get up and down for.

The property was obviously very well looked after and loved at the time of photo's, booking.com needs to update its photo's, to avoid other guests also being disappointed !
