Metro Inns Walsall Hotel

arrived from Ireland around 10.30 Friday night met by a very nice pleasant girl at reception.the room was clean and tidy,only the lights each side of the bed didn't work and another light at the tv simple things like bulbs also there was no shower gel or shower caps,we understood basic cheap accommodation but even if they could be purchased at reception it would be fine nearest shop 20 minutes away.the tv in the room was a very good size and there was loads of channels.we were staying for the elton john concert and the hotel quickly filled up on the Saturday. there was a lovely bar and seating downstairs so people went down before the concert the only thing was there was very little drink available the manager was attending the bar at the time and explained that the drinks delivery was due on Monday,again simple planning concert hotel full have the bar stocked.people would have returned again after the concert but lack of drink available.other than that we placed a morning call at reception for 6.30 never happened.over all simple little things could improve this hotel so much better a little bit of paint here an there as well. we would stay there again staff very pleasant, manager could smile more and interact more with the guests.
