first impression a lovely hotel very smart clean and welcoming. The service at meal times was abysmal on the second night they even ran out of food, off the menu. We had to settle for Burger and Chips, which was very late arriving. Christmas Dinner turned out alright hot well served and quick. The evening Buffet though was a complete shambles, with no organization whatsoever. Boxing Day evening was a carvery and they couldn't even get that right, the plates cold and separate to the meat, meaning cold plates and queuing twice made it a cold dinner. For 3 out of 4 nights the lift didn't work, so you had elderly people struggling with the stairs. All in all not a very nice experience, certainly no recommendations from here.
