I am a member of the Carlson Hotel club and I stay at this hotel as its right outside Leeds train station and very convenient.

I stay at this hotel 2/3 times a month.

Last year the I noticed that the hotel had taken £20 from my credit card account- I called them and they said it was a mistake apologised and said they would sort out a refund. I forgot but never had the refund.

Fast forard to 2018 and the same thing has happened- I called the hotel and they said that they had taken £25 because of a computer glitch. The receptionist that I spoke to said a manager would call me to sort it out- you guessed it no call back.

To be clear if you pay for something with a credit card the company you make a payment to are not allowed by law to hold onto your credit card details.

Keep away from this hotel- its not worth all the hasstle.
