Helmsley, Feversham Arms Hotel

We stayed in one of the top rooms for my Husband's birthday at the Feversham Arms Hotel. The room itself was lovely but some of the finishes were shoddy such as temp controls hanging off the walls and cracked tiles (insignificant but still when you pay these prices you expect more!)Service was sooooo slow it was painful. When we came to check out we were made to feel quote uncomfortable I almost felt like the receptionist thought my £500+ bill (for one night!!!) wouldn't go through on my card. Have to say it did and we didn't even get asked if we'd enjoyed our stay, if we needed help with our luggage or to have a safe journey home.All I can say is nice hotel but some staff training and attention to detail needed!
