Harrogate, The Old Swan Hotel

Good location and enjoyable stay. Love Harrogate, shame the wooden play fort in the park was burnt down, big dissapoinment to the kids!

The dining room staff were negligent and off hand. The food came in relays and without cutlery. We were given one menu which was then substituted for a further menu. The menu was rather 'tired' and lacked imagination - and when the food eventually did arrive - it looked less than appetising. The wine list had to be collected after being requested three times. The maitre'd looked disinterested and bored and just wandered about without any seeming task or aim. All in all, a dreadful experience.

Overall a horrible experience will not be returning or recommending to friends and family
