I Would Not Go Back To Primrose Valley Complex. W

I would not go back to Primrose Valley Complex. We stayed in a superior plus Caravan which although was nice inside was absolutely freezing on a night time. We all ended up coming home early and poorly. The duvets they provide are very thin and if you want to hire extra will cost you £5.00 per duvet. Food was very expensive and the Fish and Chips were awful - I've had better Fish and Chips in Leeds than what was given to me in Primrose Valley (which you think would be better as you are next to the sea). Everything seemed to be a money making exercise.

Nice Park Plenty To Do. I Would Not Recommend That

Nice park plenty to do. I would not recommend that you eat on the Primrose Valley complex, very pricey. My family and I purchased a meal for 3 in the complex, 3 basket meals 2 of which were chicken. When they arrived they did not look even like chicken the staff seemed not to know what they were doing, the plastic cutlery topped it off. Staff need to be a bit more courteous, very poor service.

I Have Been Going On Holiday With Haven For Over 1

I have been going on holiday with Haven for over 13 years with my kids. They love the entertainment and activities on all the Parks. I booked a Gold Olympic caravan at Primrose Valley Complex in Filey, but in the past we have had silvers, and it was excellent. It was beautifully clean and well equipped. The kids loved it.

My teenagers did trampolining, rock climbing and Aqua Jet racing. In fact, they wore me out so I left them to it and relaxed on the beach!

The food in the shops was more expensive than you would find in a big supermarket like Tesco, but you expect that, and it was convenient.

I Didn't Enjoy My Time At Primrose Valley In Filey

I didn't enjoy my time at Primrose Valley in Filey, and I had a rotten holiday. It was very disappointing, and I came home a day early.

There was a small fun fair which children would like. There were go-carts, a slide, dodgems and bumper cars etc. There was also a hire shop for the kids to hire bikes, but it was expensive, ie. £10 for a mountain bike for one day. There were plenty of grassy areas too.

unfortunately, the chalets were not very nice at all, and they were very basic (Bronze). There was a funny smell in the rooms and on the bedding. There were hardly any cooking utilities as half of them were missing.

It was a long walk to the shop for milk and bread etc., which would be too far for older people or less fit people to walk, and they would find it tiring.

Food was expensive, and it was very poor value for the amount paid.

The pool is nothing like what is advertised, ie. 7 million pound investment! It was very disappointing to see the actual pool. There are too many arcades which cost more money. Boring through the day, and it is a very steep walk down and up to the beach.

There were not enough choices for places to eat; just fish and chips, Primrose Tavern, Chinese Restaurant and Burger King, but they are all small, and they are not large enough to cater for the amount of people on the site.

Primrose Valley Is A Good Entertaining Place For C

Primrose Valley is a good entertaining place for children, however I disagree with the policy that states that children are not allowed in the complex with food purchased outside of the complex. I had to stand outside in the rain with my 4 year old while he ate his crisps which I had just bought him from the shop a few yards away, in the end we threw them away and entered the complex where I then went to get him more crisps and paid 3 times the amount that I was charged in the shop.
