Brighouse, The Casa Hotel

Went to a friends wedding and was very disapointed. The Marquee was dirty looking tatty. the bar staff were extremely young and inexperienced and unsupervised. my friend was upset that her wishes had not been followed by the wedding co-ordinator and the family ended up doing alot of the final setting up. on the plus side the venue has wonderful grounds with lake views and the bbq was great.

Great place to visit. The Casa Hotel, Brighouse, has great terraced lakeside grounds which look out over the Yorkshire countryside. It has a balcony restaurant and also an a la carte mediteranean restaurant which serves delicious and reasonably priced food. The staff are warm and welcoming and there is a real friendly atmosphere. We had a beautiful room with french door and private terrace overlooking the Lake ( £45 B & B a BARGAIN). The Casa is a hidden gem in the calderdale area and well worth a visit.
