The Foot And Mouth Horrors Devastated Many Rural B
The foot and mouth horrors devastated many rural businesses - and we visited Lancrigg in this period as we are only strollers rather than mountain climbers. We had Grassmere and Lancrigg virtually to ourselves.
The manager went thro a very difficult time like other businesses there. Thank heavens Lancrigg survived. I have traveled far and wide but there is nowhere anywhere that can compare with the peace, beauty, charm, comfort and food at Lancrigg.
