The Strand Palace Hotel

Hotel lobby was lovely, managed to check in early but room was given looked like a single bed had been put in a double room. Way too small - lift area also had a big mould stain on it. asked reception to move me to a bigger room and the receptionist was very good and moved us. Room still not huge but slightly less box like. Room size really lets the hotel down as everything else was pretty good, apart from the cost!!! paid nearly £10 for 2 drinks in the bar!!!
