The Lanesborough Hotel

With the millions of pounds of cars parked outside, this hotel can seem a little daunting. But from the moment you are greeted by the doorman the service is extremely professional but friendly. Everyone is treated perfectly.

The lounge bar is the best part of the hotel. The pianist has been in London hotels forever and knows absolutely everyone and is fascinating to talk to.

If you like people watching then just go to the bar and spend a wonderful hour or two.

I really do think that this is one of the best hotels anywhere and not widely known like the Savoy for instance. Well worth a try for something special.
