We Had An Executive Room On The Corner So Good Vie

We had an executive room on the corner so good view of the river through a floor length picture window. Trees blocked houses of Parliament, so a floor higher than the third would be preferable, but not essential.

We walked along the river to Tate Modern at a leisurely pace, taking in shops and spent time in the gallery. Really nice walk with much interest en route. You would need taxis to much further afield eg. shopping.

If You Want The Spectacular Views Of The Houses Of

If you want the spectacular views of the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben, then insist on room offering this view. Most rooms offer rather dull up-river view or internal with no view at all.

River Bank Plaza Hotel is not within walking distance of London Eye, Buckingham Palace or Tate Gallery as website would indicate. You would need to take a cab or underground train. Waterloo Station is also a good 15-20 min walk away.

Food in the brasserie was excellent, offering good value and friendly staff.
