This Hotel Was By Far The Worst One We Ever Stayed
This hotel was by far the worst one we ever stayed in.
The receptionist took ages to find us and when we finally entered our room it looked in desperate need of some tlc.
One of the lights did not work, WE fixed the toilet seat to the toilet as it unfortunately was only just attached. The mirror was dirty and the writing was clearly visible from one of the previous guests.
The worst part was the shower as we noticed in the morning that the water did not drain and therefor only allowing one of us to have a shower.Perhaps this was a cunning plan as they did only provide us with one towel!
Needles to say, we complained but without succes. We will never use Travelodge again as we were very disapointed with their customer service.

There Was A Small Piece Of Writing On The Website
There was a small piece of writing on the website saying it was currently under renovation and some disturbance might happen. We wasn't expecting the entrance to resemble Steptoe's yard, the reception to look dowdy and miserable, the staff to look like they hated it there, the room to have a black hair on the toilet wall, a leaking shower, a shower curtain that didn't reach the floor so even when closed water sprayed everywhere, the view to look directly into the window of the council block opposite, the noise of cleaners outside the room having what must have been an argument in the morning, slamming doors and shouting, and the construction work was so loud, the second morning we were woken by a bang, then a bang so loud that it made us jump, and then a third bang that was so loud it jolted the curtains open. When we left a member of staff was talking to a potential resident, but her customer service was clearly poor and she was poking holes into a piece of paper with a pen. It was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The location was mediocre and tucked away down an ally, and at one point there was a gang of kids smoking outside making us residents feel incredibly uncomfortable. I will NEVER stay with a Travelodge again. EVER. Even if it is paid for by work. This time was leisure and it ruined our whole experience and we couldn't wait to leave. NOT worth the £260 we were charged to stay. I've written TWO complaint letters, which we were told we would get a response within 10 days, however nearly a month later no reply to either. DO NOT STAY HERE EVEN AFTER CONSTRUCTION HAS FINISHED!!!!!!!

There Are 2 Travelodges In Covent Gardens, This Is
There are 2 travelodges in Covent Gardens, this is about the one on Museum Street.
The hotel is situated quite close to Euston train station.
The room we were allocated was clean which we hoped for and basic as we thought although it was down a notch from premier inns - smaller rooms only 2 cups in a family room, one hard back chair (there wouldn't have been room for anymore) and the bedside cabinet was just a shelf no cupboard or shelf.
The en suite had a sink, toilet and bath with a shower over it and was clean.
The hotel was pretty big it had 13 floors we were on the 10th.
The breakfast was pretty standard with no added extra touches. There was cereal in boxes to choose from the boxes were slightly bigger than the ones I buy so my daughter only ever ate half a box and the day I had cereal before toast I only ate half a box. They had rice krispies, cornflakes, coco pops, museli, crunchy nut thing and weetabix so quite a selectin but unlike the premier inn they didn't offer porridge. They also had muller yoghurts in rasberry and strawberry flavours. You could also have grapefruit or orange segments. The hot food was basic and not really vege friendly but we found this to be the case in all eating places it was limited. It was serve yourself to bacon, sausage (no vege ones), scrambled eggs, beans and tomatoes cut in half and cooked. (no mushrooms etc) They also had croissants and blueberry muffins and you made your own toast. Butter, marg, jam, honey and nutella were in little packs for you.
The drinks they had (all self service) were orange juice, apple juice, water, tea and coffee. The food although basic was fine but what I didn't like was how fast they cleared plates away, if they saw your plate was empty they pounced; my youngest had some toast on a serviette as they had took her plate, and when a waitress came back she hid it under the table so she couldn't takeit off her.
The location was excellent as it was very central for visiting lots of sights (you could walk to places and didn't always need the tube). We used the tube twice but we do tend to walk places. The room was clean, the breakfast ok so all in all it was a good choice but mainly because of its location.
We would stay here again because of the price and location (some would disagree because of the noise).

This Travelodge Was By Far The Worst Hotel I Have
This travelodge was by far the worst hotel i have stayed in. The service was quite bad. it took me a good 15 minutes to check in because they couldn't find me on the computer, and before that i stood waiting to be served for 20 minutes without any one even acknowledging i was there. Once i had finally checked in without one single smile from the receptionists, i went to my room. the journey to my room was through undecorated walls and horrible carpets, with signs facing the wrong way. got to my room and the light fittings were hanging off, the hairdryer had a broken cord and a paper sign selotapped onto it warning me not to use it. The room was ugly.
in fairness, i booked a supersaver room so i only paid £55 for the night, and it the centre of london this is an unbeleivably cheap price - but there is a reason for this!!
Despite its cheapness, i wouldn't stay here again.

This Could Be A Really Good Budget Hotel In A Grea
This could be a really good budget hotel in a great location. Unfortunately the company has failed to spend money on it and it is tired, shabby and the restaurant area is badly ventilated. Even if you are only using it as a room to sleep in, as we were, it is unwelcoming and depressing.
