Torquay, Daylesford Hotel

Very comfortable and smartly decorated Daylesford is a wonderful B&B near the conference centre.The hotel rooms are delightful, breakfast all freshly cooked to order, the hosts are very welcoming and helpful. Highly recommended.

The Daylesford Hotel is in a excellent location for a conference centre, central Torquay is about 15 mins walk downhill, taxi fare from the centre to hotel was just under a fiver.

Extremely friendly and welcoming hosts, mine of information.

Good breakfast, fresh cafetiere of coffee etc. Whole hotel and room was spotlessly clean, obviously well looked after and well maintained.

If you cant be bothered to go into town, there's also a bar/diner just round the corner. Also try the Elephant in town - Michelin starred, nice relaxed atmosphere.

The Daylesford Hotel in Torquay is a hidden gem! We received a very warm welcome on our arrival. There is a relaxed atmosphere, excellent breakfast that sets you up for the day, and beautifully appointed rooms. We definitely recommend it.

Daylesford is a lovely hotel, nice location, walking distance from harbour.

Dianne & Simon were very friendly and welcoming with a lot of local knowledge.

The hotel has 10 bedrooms in a leafy quiet road. The rooms was splotlessly clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast was delicious. Highly recommended.

The advance information was good, the Daylesford Hotel was properly described as a genteel one in a leafy road and totally non-smoking.

I have stayed in smaller hotels before, but this one was not what I expected.

Had no difficulty in finding the hotel, the directions we were given on confimation of our bookings were spot on. The hotel is small (with only 10 bedrooms) but it is peaceful and in a quiet area although not to far that you can not walk to the harbour. The bedroom was splotless and so was the linen. the hotel is very tastfully decorated.

The food was excellently presented and of first class standard and most appetising.

Dianne & Simon were genuinely helpful regarding factilites in the Torbay area, offering infomation which enabled guests to plan their activites and thus benefit from their stay.

The description of the Hotel provided on the internet enabled us to choose a most suitable Hotel which met our requirements completely, we would certainly stay there again and recommend the Daylesford Hotel to others.
